Updates n' Stuff!
Hey, guys!
I know it's kinda been a while since I posted anything (for those of you who don't read the Tay/Jammy stuff over at![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
homefic), but hopefully that'll change. I'm working on a new Zaylor, I think I've got about 5ish chapters done so far, and I have another idea rattling around in the empty space where my brain should probably be, so we'll see how that works out.
But I did just finish a one-shot (only I'll probably have to post it in 2 parts because OpenOffice and LJ won't play nice and the formatting gets screwy and LJ says my post is too large and... *sigh* whatever). It's basically just some porn without plot that I wrote for Sammy. Only... it has more plot than porn, really. Don't act like this is a surprise, I wrote it. I'll post the first part tomorrow, maybe. Definitely by the end of this week.
Anyway, the main point of this post, besides letting you know my love for Zaylor is very much not dead, is because I'm gonna follow in![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
chockablock's footsteps and finally make myself do a friends cut. I'm not one for friends cuts, I've never demanded people comment or I'll cut them or whatever, but I have had this journal for about 18 months now and I've never done a big friends cut on it before now. And I know for a fact that there are several people on my flist who I don't know well at all and who don't even seem to read/write Zaylor anymore, so... *shrugs* there doesn't seem to be much point in them being on my fic journal flist.
If you want to stay on my flist, just comment here. A smiley face is fine, you don't need to give a reason or anything, I just wanna make a list of people to keep. Anyone who hasn't commented on this post by June 9th is going to be cut. It's not a personal thing, I just want to clear up my flist and get rid of (sorry, I couldn't think of a nicer way to put it. lol) the people who aren't interested in reading my fics anymore. However, if you don't want to read my work anymore but you do still want to be my friend for whatever reason, feel free to friend my personal journal,justawordaway.
I figure two weeks gives people plenty of time to reply to this, but it's not like it's a permanent thing, people are welcome to ask me to friend them again if they miss the "deadline" or if their Zaylor love is sparked again somewhere down the line and they want to read my fics.

One more thing I just remembered! Most of you know I usually don't post stories until they're finished, I don't post chapters as I write them, I wait until I've finished the entire fic. I do this because I don't want to write 20 chapters and then run out of steam and never finish the fic at all. I feel like it's frustrating when authors just ditch fics after people become interested in them and excited by them, I've done it myself before and I didn't want to do it again. But... do you guys actually give a crap? lol Would you rather I stick to finishing stories before posting them or post chapters whenever they're done, even if there's a good chance the stories might not be finished or there might be weeks or months between new chapters? Since I do it this way to avoid annoying you, I figured I should actually check and see if that's what you want. lmao

I like that you're determined to post your story only once you're finished so as not to disappoint anyone if you're not able to finish it for whatever reason. I think it's really thoughtful of you.

I wish I was more like you, finishing the story before posting it. because I know how unfinish things can annoy the crap out of some people. and I guess I'm a little like those people myself *blush*... I mean, I like to know that I'm going to read the ending. but, at the same time, from a writer's point of you... It's just nice to post something and get people's feedback. :)
